Each Memorial Day, Take the Oath hosts an event at the Sanpete County Fairgrounds, where individuals take their official oaths of enlistment right in the arena. Alongside this powerful moment, world-champion bull riders and award-winning entertainers come together to deliver an unforgettable experience. Proceeds from the event are donated to veterans and help provide scholarship assistance to local FFA high school students. Take the Oath Scholarship The Take the Oath PRCA Xtreme Bull Riding committee is pleased to announce our annual call for applications and submittals for the Take the Oath scholarship competition. We are proud to offer three $1,000 scholarships to support active FFA members in achieving the FFA Vision of "providing the next generation of leaders who will change the world." The Take the Oath PRCA Xtreme Bull Riding Committee now accepting applications from FFA Senior students enrolled at Gunnison, North Sanpete , and Manti High Schools for the 2024-2025 school year. Scholarship Details: IFA and A+ Electric each generously donate a $500.00 scholarship. Each of the three winners will receive $1,000.00. To be considered for the Take the Oath Scholarship, applicants must present material that demonstrates an understanding and real-world application of the FFA Motto “Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve.” Get Creative!
