Take the Oath Scholarship

The Take the Oath PRCA Xtreme Bull Riding committee is pleased to announce our annual call for applications and submittals for the Take the Oath scholarship competition. While the Take the Oath Xtreme Bull riding rodeo was created to raise funds to construct a memorial to honor our military and first responders, we have also created three scholarships to help FFA members realize the FFA Vision of “providing the next generation of leaders who will change the world.”

The Take the Oath PRCA Xtreme Bull Riding Committee is seeking applications and submittals from interested FFA member Senior students enrolled at Gunnison, North Sanpete, and Manti High Schools for the 2023-2024 school year. The committee may award one scholarship of $500.00 each to the three first-place FFA members meeting the active member status. In addition, IFA and A+ Electric will be matching the $500.00 scholarship, bringing the total scholarship amount to each of the three winners to $1,500.00 each.

The criterion for selecting the three winning recipients of the Take the Oath Memorial Scholarships is to present material that demonstrates an understanding of as well as real-world practical application of the principles that embody the FFA Motto “Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve.” The committee encourages you to think outside the box and be creative with your submittal. You are also encouraged to submit more than just a written paper. Add photos, and videos, get engaged, be inspired, and have fun with this.
